ניתן היתר לפי חוק זה, רשאי נותן ההיתר, אם התבקש לכך, להתיר גם הפקת נתוני תקשורת כמשמעותם בחוק סדר הדין הפלילי (סמכויות אכיפה – נתוני תקשורת), התשס״ח–2007, של המנוי או מיתקן הבזק שההאזנה הותרה לגביהם, למשך תקופת תוקפו של ההיתר.
