16. ירושה מכוח אימוץ
תיקון: תשע״ב
(א)מי שאומץ כדין יורש את מאמצו כאילו היה ילדו, וכן יורשים את המאמץ צאצאי המאומץ; המאמץ יורש את המאומץ כאילו היה הורהו.
(ב)המאומץ וצאצאיו זוכים על פי דין בעזבונם של קרובי המאמץ כאילו היו יורשים, וקרובי המאמץ זוכים על פי דין בעזבונו של המאומץ כאילו היו יורשים.
(ג)המאומץ וצאצאיו יורשים את קרובי המאומץ, אולם הורי המאומץ והורי הוריו וצאצאיהם אינם יורשים את המאומץ.
