2. חובת המוצא
(א)המוצא אבידה ונוטלה (להלן – המוצא) חייב להשיבה לבעלה או להודיע עליה בהקדם למשטרה, זולת אם בנסיבות הענין יש להניח שבעל האבידה התייאש ממנה מחמת מיעוט שוויה.
(ב)הודיע המוצא למשטרה, רשאי הוא למסור לה את האבידה והוא חייב לעשות כן אם היא דרשה זאת ממנו.
