תיקון: תש״ל, תשע״ו
היועץ המשפטי לממשלה או בא־כוחו רשאים, אם הם סבורים שטובתו של קטין, של פסול־דין, או של האדם שמונה לו אפוטרופוס או טובת הכלל מחייבת זאת, לפתוח בכל הליך משפטי, כולל ערעור, לפי חוק זה וכן להתייצב ולטעון בכל הליך כזה.
