הוראות החלות לפי חוק זה על אפוטרופוס של אדם ועל אדם שמונה לו אפוטרופוס או שבית המשפט רשאי למנות לו אפוטרופוס יחולו, בשינויים המחויבים, גם על אפוטרופוס של עובר ועל עובר שמונה לו אפוטרופוס או שבית המשפט רשאי למנות לו אפוטרופוס.
