רשאים בעלי הדין להסכים, בחוזה נפרד בכתב, על תקופת התיישנות ארוכה מן הקבועה בחוק זה, ובתביעה שענינה אינו מקרקעין – גם על תקופת התיישנות קצרה יותר מן הקבועה בחוק זה, ובלבד שלא תקצר מששה חדשים.
