”מומחה“ – רופא, מומחה רפואי, או מי שעוסק כמומחה בנושא שבמדע, במחקר, באמנות או במקצוע;
”מומחה רפואי“ – רופא בעל תואר מומחה ששמו כלול ברשימת הרופאים שנתפרסמה לפי תקנה 34 לתקנות הרופאים (אישור תואר מומחה ובחינות), התשל״ג–1973.
