חבר הוועדה ליישוב סכסוכים יימנע מהשתתפות בדיוני הוועדה אם הסכסוך שלפניה עלול לגרום לו להימצא, במישרין או בעקיפין, במצב של ניגוד עניינים בין תפקידו כחבר הוועדה לבין עניין אחר או עיסוק אחר שלו הנוגעים לאותו סכסוך.
