20. תוצאות הביטול
מן היום שנקבע לכך בצו הביטול מנתק ביטולו של צו אימוץ את החובות והזכויות שבין המאמץ לבין המאומץ ואת סמכויות המאמץ ביחס למאומץ ומחזיר את החובות והזכויות שבין המאומץ לבין הוריו ושאר קרוביו ואת סמכויותיהם ביחס אליו; ואולם רשאי בית המשפט, בצו הביטול, להורות הוראה אחרת, אם דרך כלל ואם לענין זכות, חובה או סמכות פלונית, ולצוות מה ייעשה במאומץ לאחר ביטול האימוץ.
