מטרתו של חלק זה לאתר ולמנוע פגיעה במאושפזים בבית חולים גריאטרי באמצעות התקנת מצלמות, תוך שמירה, ככל האפשר, על כבודם ופרטיותם של המאושפזים, של העובדים בבית החולים ושל כל אדם אחר הנמצא בבית החולים.
