44ו. שמירה על איכות המים
תיקון: תשכ״ה, תשס״ו
לא יאשר מנהל הרשות הממשלתית תכנית החדרה העשויה לפגוע באיכות המים באזור ההחדרה עד כדי כך שהמים לא יהיו ראויים לשימוש לו נועדו באזור, אלא אם הוכיח המחדיר, להנחת דעתו של מנהל הרשות הממשלתית, שיעמיד לרשות הספק, או הצרכן, שאיכות המים שלו ירדה כאמור, מים ממקור חלוף, באיכות הראויה לשימוש לו נועדו המים באזור.
