תיקון: תשס״ו
מועצת הרשות הממשלתית רשאית, באישור הממשלה, להסמיך תאגיד להיות רשות המים הארצית, ובלבד שרוב המניות המקנות כוח שליטה בו מוחזק בידי המדינה וההסתדרות הציונית העולמית או מוסדותיה; ההסמכה טעונה אישור ועדת הכלכלה של הכנסת. הודעה על ההסמכה תפורסם ברשומות.
