הרואה עצמו מקופח בהחלטת המנהל רשאי, תוך שלושים יום מיום שנמסרה לו ההחלטה, לערור עליה לפני ועדת ערר, ובין היתר לערור על כל החלטה של המנהל בהשתמשו בשיקול הדעת הניתן לו בחוק זה.
