1א. מטרות רשות מקרקעי ישראל
תיקון: תשס״ט
רשות מקרקעי ישראל תפעל, במסגרת תפקידיה –
(1)לניהול מקרקעי ישראל כמשאב לשם פיתוחה של מדינת ישראל לטובת הציבור, הסביבה והדורות הבאים, ובכלל זה להשארת עתודות קרקע מספיקות לצרכיה ולפיתוחה של המדינה בעתיד, תוך איזון ראוי בין צורכי שימור לצורכי פיתוח, ובין שיווק קרקע לשמירה על עתודות קרקע לצורכי ציבור;
(2)לקידום התחרות בשוק המקרקעין ולמניעת ריכוזיות בהחזקת מקרקעין.
