בחוק זה –
”מקרקעי ישראל“ – כמשמעותו בחוק־יסוד: מקרקעי ישראל (להלן – חוק־היסוד);
”קרקע עירונית“ – קרקע שייעודה לפי תכנית שניתן להוציא מכוחה היתר בנייה לפי חוק התכנון והבניה, התשכ״ה–1965, הוא למגורים או לתעסוקה;
”תעסוקה“ – תעשייה, מלאכה, משרדים, מסחר, תיירות או מלונאות, למעט חקלאות או גידול בעלי חיים.
