סימן זה יחול, בשינויים המחויבים, גם לענין סירוב להרחיב חוזה ביטוח קיים או מתן יחס שונה בקשר לבקשה כאמור; בסעיף זה, ”הרחבת חוזה ביטוח“ – הגדלת סכום הביטוח או הוספת כיסוי ביטוח.
