יוצא צבא או מועמד לשירות ביטחון הרואה את עצמו נפגע מהחלטת ועדה רפואית, וכן פוקד, רשאים להגיש ערר על החלטת הוועדה הרפואית לפני ועדה רפואית עליונה, בהתאם לתנאים שנקבעו בתקנות.
