59. ריבוי נושים
(א)שנים שמגיע להם חיוב אחד, חזקה שכל אחד מהם רשאי לדרוש את קיומו, ובלבד שלא ייפרעו מהחייב יותר מן המגיע ממנו; החייב רשאי לקיים את החיוב כלפי אחד הנושים, לפי בחירתו, כל עוד לא ניתן פסק דין לטובת הנושה האחר.
(ב)חזקה על הנושים שהם שותפים בחיוב בחלקים שווים; קויים החיוב כלפי אחד מהם, רשאי השני לדרוש ממנו את חלקו.
