נהג חדש צעיר יהיה פטור מתכנית הליווי אם ביצע תכנית חונכות לנהגים של צבא־הגנה לישראל מסוג קליטה והכשרת הנהג ביחידה, ובלבד שהמציא לרשות הרישוי אישור על כך מאת קצין הבטיחות היחידתי.
