על אגרות לפי פקודה זו תחול פקודת המסים (גביה), כאילו היו מס כמשמעותו באותה פקודה; לענין זה, ”אגרה“ – אגרה לפי פקודה זו, שנשלחה לגביה הודעה בכתב לחייב וניתנה לו אפשרות לטעון כנגדה.
