תיקון: תשע״ט
תקופת כהונתו של חבר המועצה שמונה לפי סעיף 4 תהיה ארבע שנים, ורשאי השר להאריך את תקופת כהונתו לתקופת כהונה נוספת, ובלבד שלא יכהן יותר משתי תקופות כהונה רצופות.
