Section 3 of תקנות המוזיאונים, התשמ״ה–1984, אוצר.
3. אוצר
(א)הנהלת מוזיאון תמנה אוצר אחד לפחות.
(ב)אלה כשירים להיות אוצרים:
(1)מי שהוא בעל השכלה אקדמית בתחום מתחומי האוספים שבמוזיאון;
(2)מי שהוא בעל ניסיון של חמש שנים לפחות בתחום מתחומי האוצרות;
(3)מי שהוא אוצר יחיד במוזיאון והיה ערב תחילתן של תקנות אלה עובד בתפקיד אוצר במוזיאון במשך תקופה של פחות מחמש שנים והמנהל, על פי המלצת הנהלת המוזיאון, קבע כי הוא מתאים לכהן בתפקיד אוצר;
(4)מי שסיים קורס אוניברסיטאי לאוצרות שהכיר בו המנהל לענין תקנות אלה.
