9א. מניעת עדותו של קטין
תיקון: תשל״ב, תשס״ח
בית המשפט רשאי להימנע מהזמין קטין כעד בהליכים לפי חוק זה, או להפסיק עדותו, אם היה סבור שמתן העדות עלול לסכן את שלומו של הקטין; במקרה זה רשאי הוא לקבל כראיה עדות שגבה ורשם חוקר ילדים, לפי חוק לתיקון דיני הראיות (הגנת ילדים), תשט״ו–1955, או זכרון דברים או דין־וחשבון שרשם חוקר ילדים בשעת חקירה או לאחריה.
