14. תחילה והוראות מעבר
(א)תחילתו של חוק זה ביום כ׳ בטבת התשס״ה (1 בינואר 2005) (בחוק זה – יום התחילה).
(ב)הוראות חוק זה יחולו על מי שביום התחילה מתקיים בו אחד מאלה:
(1)טרם ניתנה הכרעת דין בענינו;
(2)הורשע וטרם נגזר דינו;
(3)נידון לעונש מאסר בפועל ובמועד תחילתו של חוק זה טרם שוחרר ממאסרו;
(4)בית משפט הורה על אשפוזו ובמועד תחילתו של חוק זה טרם שוחרר מן האשפוז.
