9. מינוי סניגור
(א)בית המשפט רשאי למנות לעבריין מין סניגור, אם שוכנע כי אין לו אמצעים לשכור סניגור לשם ייצוגו בהליך לפי חוק זה, וכי יש חשש ממשי כי בלא ייצוג כאמור ייגרם לו עיוות דין.
(ב)היה עבריין המין חולה נפש ימנה לו בית המשפט סניגור לשם ייצוגו בהליך לפי חוק זה.
