תיקון: תשנ״ז־2, תשנ״ח
בנוסף לסגן האמור בסעיף 36 רשאית המועצה לבחור בדרך האמורה בסעיף 6ח(א) לחוק בחירת ראשי מועצות אזוריות –
(1)במועצה אזורית שמספר תושביה אינו עולה על 20,000 – סגן אחד;
(2)במועצה אזורית שמספר תושביה עולה על 20,000 או שמספר הישובים בה עולה על 50 – שני סגנים.
