הוראות חוק זה יחולו גם על מי שערב ללקוח כלפי תאגיד בנקאי; ואולם הוראות סעיף 5א1 יחולו לעניין ערב ללקוח כלפי תאגיד בנקאי בהתאמות ובשינויים שייקבעו בהוראות ניהול בנקאי תקין.
