8. אי־תלות בסדרי דין ובדיני ראיות
(א)ועדת חקירה אינה חייבת לנהוג לפי סדרי הדין של בית משפט, והיא רשאית לקבל כל ראיה שהיא בכל דרך הנראית לה מועילה ולקבוע סדרי חקירתם של עדים; והכל כשאין בחוק זה או בתקנות לפיו הוראה אחרת לענין זה.
(ב)ועדת חקירה אינה כפופה לדיני הראיות כשאין בחוק זה הוראה אחרת לענין זה.
