183. טיהור שמו של ימאי
תיקון: תשע״ב
פורסמו ידיעות הזוקפות על ימאי עבירת משמעת לפי חוק זה והיה בדרך הפרסום כדי לפגוע בו, רשאי הוא לבקש מהתובע עריכת חקירה בעבירה זו, ואם ראה התובע על פי תוצאות החקירה שאין אמת בידיעות אלה, יודיע על כך לימאי בכתב והימאי רשאי לפרסם את ההודעה בדרך הנראית לו; ראה התובע שיש יסוד לידיעה, יגיש תובענה לבית הדין או יעביר את הענין לשיפוט של מפקח.
