59. העברה לתפקיד נמוך
(א)בכפוף לאמור בכל הסכם, רשאי הקברניט להורות לאיש צוות למלא בכלי שיט תפקיד שונה מהתפקיד שלשמו נשכר, לרבות תפקיד נמוך ממנו, לאחר ששמע דעתו של הקצין הממונה על המחלקה שבה משרת איש הצוות, אם ישנו, והגיע למסקנה שאיש הצוות אינו מתאים מבחינת כשרו או נסיונו המקצועי למלא את התפקיד שלשמו נשכר.
(ב)הוראת הקברניט לאיש הצוות לפי סעיף זה תיכנס לתקפה עם רישום החלטתו ונימוקיה ביומן הרשמי.
