1. מטרת החוק
מטרתו של חוק זה לסייע לבני זוג ולהורים וילדיהם ליישב סכסוך משפחתי ביניהם בהסכמה ובדרכי שלום, ולצמצם את הצורך בקיום התדיינות משפטית, מתוך התחשבות במכלול ההיבטים הנוגעים לסכסוך ובטובתם של כל ילדה וילד.
