7. הצהרת אמונים
מי שנתמנה קאדי חייב, בטרם ישב בדין, להצהיר בפני נשיא המדינה הצהרה זו:
”אני מתחייב לשמור אמונים למדינת ישראל, לשפוט את העם משפט צדק, לא להטות משפט ולא להכיר פנים“.
