19. שמירת סמכויות, דינים והסכמים
(א)חוק זה אינו בא להוסיף על סמכויות השיפוט של בתי־דין דתיים ולא לגרוע מהן; ומקום שבית דין דתי מוסמך על פי חיקוק לשפוט, יראו כל מקום בחוק זה שנאמר בו ”בית משפט“ כבא לרבות בית־דין דתי.
(ב)חוק זה בא להוסיף על זכויות המזונות הנתונות על פי כל דין שבית־דין דתי דן לפיו ועל פי הדין האישי החל על הצדדים, ואינו בא לגרוע מזכויות אלה.
(ג)חוק זה אינו בא לגרוע מתקפו של כל הסכם הקובע זכות למזונות למעלה ממידתם או מהיקפם לפי חוק זה.
