אסיר בהפרדה רשאי לפנות לבית המשפט בבקשה לעיון חוזר בהחלטה שניתנה על ידו אם נתגלו עובדות חדשות או נשתנו נסיבות, באופן שיש בו כדי להשפיע על החלטתו; בעיון חוזר, רשאי בית המשפט לקיים את ההחלטה, לבטלה או לתת אחרת במקומה.
