הוראות סעיף 2 לא יחולו אם המעשים האמורים בו הם בגדר הפצה או שימוש הוגן, לשם לימוד עצמי או הוראה שלא למטרת רווח, או לשם מחקר, ביקורת, סקירה, או תמצית עתונאית.
