שר האוצר יקבע בתקנות, לכל ענפי הביטוח או לענפי ביטוח מסוימים, הוראות בדבר השיעורים ודרך חישוב הריבית שיש להוסיף על תגמולי ביטוח המשולמים במטבע חוץ או במטבע ישראלי המחושב לפי ערכו של מטבע חוץ לפי סעיף 28(ד) לחוק חוזה הביטוח, התשמ״א–1981.
