קיום ועדת האימוץ, סמכויותיה ותוקף החלטותיה לא ייפגעו מחמת שהתפנה מקומו של חבר ועדת האימוץ או משקיף, או מחמת ליקוי במינויו או בהמשך כהונתו, ובלבד שרוב חברי ועדת האימוץ מכהנים כדין.
