9. תקופת כהונה
(א)תקופת כהונתו של חבר המועצה תהא ארבע שנים.
(ב)חבר המועצה שתקופת כהונתו תמה רשאי שר התחבורה למנות אותו מחדש לתקופה נוספת; הארכה לתקופת כהונה שלישית תהיה טעונה אישור הממשלה.
