התגלה הצורך, תוך כדי חקירה משטרתית, לעשות פעולה המצריכה נוכחותו של אדם עם מוגבלות שכלית (החל מיום 29.7.2027: או אדם עם אוטיזם) שהופנה לחקירה בידי חוקר מיוחד, או השתתפותו בה, לא תיעשה הפעולה אלא בהתאם להוראותיו של החוקר המיוחד.
