אמצעים יעילים ונאותים יינקטו כדי להשיג ולקיים, על ידי מחזור אויר צח, איוורור מספיק בכל חדר עבודה, וכדי ליטול, במידה שהדבר מעשי, נזקם של אדים, אבק וזוהמה אחרת העלולים להזיק לבריאות והמתהווים תוך כדי תהליך או עבודה המבוצעים במפעל.
