7. שמירת סמכויות
(א)אין בהוראות חוק זה כדי לגרוע מסמכות גורם אזרחי מוסמך בכל עניין הנוגע להכשרה שבתחום סמכותו לפי כל דין.
(ב)אין בהוראות חוק זה כדי למנוע ממוסד מוכר להשכלה גבוהה כמשמעותו בחוק המועצה להשכלה גבוהה, התשי״ח–1958, לתת פטור לצורכי לימודים אקדמיים, לימודים לשם קבלת תעודת הוראה או לימודים לשם קבלת תעודת עובד חינוך בחינוך הבלתי־פורמלי, למי שהשלים הכשרה צבאית מסוימת.
