27. ועדת בחירות שאינה פועלת כראוי
(א)ועדת בחירות שאינה ממלאת את תפקידה כראוי באופן שלדעת השר קיים חשש שהבחירות לא ייערכו במועדן, רשאי השר להתרות בה; לא שעתה ועדת הבחירות לאתראה רשאי השר, לאחר זמן סביר ממתן האתראה, לפטרה ולמנות ועדה אחרת במקומה; הרכב הועדה החדשה אינו חייב להיות כהרכבה הסיעתי של המועצה.
(ב)השר רשאי לצוות שועדת בחירות שנתמנתה על ידיו כאמור בסעיף קטן (א) תשלים את העבודה שהתחילה בה הועדה הקודמת.
