19. פקיעת כהונה
חבר המועצה או הועדה המייעצת יחדל לכהן לפני תום תקופת כהונתו באחת מאלה:
(1)התפטר במסירת כתב התפטרות לשר;
(2)הוגש נגדו כתב אישום בעבירה שלדעת היועץ המשפטי לממשלה יש עמה קלון;
(3)חדל להיות עובד המשרד הממשלתי או הגוף שאותו הוא מייצג במועצה או בועדה המייעצת;
(4)לגבי נציג הציבור – אם נתמנה עובד המדינה.
