2. הגדרות
בחוק זה –
”האזור“ – כל אחד מאלה: יהודה והשומרון וחבל עזה;
”חוק האזרחות“ – חוק האזרחות, התשי״ב–1952;
”חוק הכניסה לישראל“ – חוק הכניסה לישראל, התשי״ב–1952;
”מפקד האזור“ – לעניין יהודה והשומרון – מפקד כוחות צבא הגנה לישראל ביהודה והשומרון, ולעניין חבל עזה – מי שיסמיך שר הפנים, בהסכמת שר הביטחון;
”תושב האזור“ – מי שרשום במרשם האוכלוסין של האזור, וכן מי שמתגורר באזור אף שאינו רשום במרשם האוכלוסין של האזור, ולמעט תושב יישוב ישראלי באזור.
