5. סיום כהונה
(א)הנציב יחדל לכהן לפני תום תקופת כהונתו, באחת מאלה:
(1)פטירת הנציב;
(2)התפטרות הנציב, במסירת כתב התפטרות לשר;
(3)העברת הנציב מכהונה לפי סעיף 6;
(ב)הודעה על סיום כהונתו של הנציב תפורסם ברשומות.
