הממשלה מורשית בזה, בשם המדינה, לקבל מחברות ביטוח העוסקות בישראל בביטוח חיים צמוד, מילווה בסכום היתרה המוערכת של קרנות הביטוח הנובעות מחוזים לביטוח חיים שנקשרו ונכנסו לתקפם לפני א׳ בניסן התשנ״ה (1 באפריל 1995); שר האוצר רשאי, באישור ועדת הכספים של הכנסת, לשנות בצו את המועד האמור.
