3. מטרות מוזאון הכנסת
מטרותיו של מוזאון הכנסת הן:
(1)לשחזר ולשמר את מעטפת המשכן הקודם ואת שטח המוזאון, לרבות אולם המליאה, לפי הוראות חוק זה;
(2)לשמש מוזאון שבו יוצגו, באמצעים מוזאליים הולמים, תולדות הכנסת ופועלה;
(3)לקיים כל פעילות אחרת בהתאם למטרת חוק זה, שיושב ראש הכנסת יחליט עליה, לאחר התייעצות עם המועצה המייעצת.
