4. הפעלת בית העצמאות
(א)בית העצמאות ינוהל ויופעל מטעם המדינה באחריותו ובפיקוחו של הגנז, באמצעות הגוף המנהל שמונה לפי הוראות סעיף 17, על פי הוראות הגנז והנחיותיו המקצועיות; הגנז יפקח על הגוף המנהל ופעולותיו, לרבות על קיום הוראות והנחיות מקצועיות שנקבעו לפי סעיף זה, ועל פעילותו התקינה של בית העצמאות לפי הוראות חוק זה.
(ב)מועצת המוזיאונים רשאית לייעץ לגנז בעניין הקמתו והפעלתו של המוזיאון בבית העצמאות.
