8. הוראות מעבר
מי שביום כניסת חוק זה לתוקף משמש בתפקיד מהנדס עיר, מהנדס רשות מקומית, מהנדס ועדה מקומית או מזכיר ועדה מקומית, יראו אותו כאילו מונה לפי חוק זה, אף אם אין הוא ממלא אחר תנאי הכשירות כמפורט בסעיף 4, ובלבד שהוא משמש בתפקיד כאמור במשך שנה אחת לפחות.
