10. הפסקת הבירור
הממונה על תלונות הציבור יפסיק בירור תלונה אם ראה כי מלכתחילה לא היה מקום לבירורה לפי הוראות חוק זה, ורשאי הוא להפסיקו אם ראה שעניין התלונה בא על תיקונו או שהמתלונן ביטל את תלונתו; הממונה על תלונות הציבור יודיע בכתב למתלונן, לנילון ולממונה עליו, שהפסיק את הבירור ויציין את הנימוקים לכך.
